How to use our Remedy Journal for Homeopathy
If you have attempted to be an excellent observer, at some point you will resort to detailed journaling. Unfortunately, there are not a lot available journals that do what we need them to do. My family has actively used homeopathy for over 8 years, so I have had a lot of time to play with creating a system that helps.
My recommendation is to use to use this as a homeopathy journal with visual aids. Leave it near your bed and commit to journaling a few minutes before bed each night. Circle important events at the top of the page such as DOSE DAYS, REMEDY CHANGE, and IMPORTANT DATES. This allows you to quickly flip through the journal and answer specific provider questions during your appointment very quickly and accurately.
Did this happen before or after the dose? What day did you increase potency? Did the symptom get worse the first day (aggravation?) or get better? Our days are full, memories can fade over time, this allows you to be clear, accurate and specific.
Homeopathy Triggers are worth remembering. If something goes haywire it may be helpful to be able to look back and see what else was happening? Strep throat? First day of school? Birthday party with extra sugar? This hints may be helpful for your provider to get things back in track if something goes off the rails.
Take a few notes about the day to remind yourself what happened. What was noteworthy. Then keep track of your most important symptoms, and mark with 1 - 5 to remember exactly what was better and what was worse. This will help you understand clearly what improves with time, what gets worse, and when and why.
Don't forget to take a moment to recognize something good at the end of each day. And take a moment to think of anything new, strange, different that you may want to remember to share with your provider. New wart? Migraine? Foot cramp?
There is a section to recap the week and bring up any important details and a full page of notes at the end of each month. This gives you space to remember what questions you want to ask your provider during your appointment, and take clear notes with the instructions and feedback they give you.
A homeopathy journal can increase clear communication, consistency, and observation details making homeopathy treatment less stressful and more effective.
~ with much love to you in your healing process.
